Text you check
ChatZero processes pasted and opened document text locally in your browser. Your text is not sent to our servers, stored by us, or associated with an account.
Detection model
When you first check text, your browser downloads the detection model files from Hugging Face. Your browser may cache those files so later checks can start faster. This request is subject to Hugging Face's own privacy practices.
Accounts and cookies
We do not offer user accounts. The checker does not need a login or use your writing for model training.
Standard hosting data
Our hosting provider may log standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of access for security and service operation. The text you enter into the checker is not part of those page requests.
Local files
Text and Word documents are read by code running in your browser. They are not uploaded to us.
